2 HAVS Risk Assessment What is a risk assessment? Identify the hazards, decide who might be harmed and how, evaluate the risks, record findings and implement them, and review and update.
3 Reducing and Controlling Risks Risk reduction, tool manufacturers, reducing exposure time, low vibration tools, correct installation of machinery, maintenance, reducing vibration at the source, personal protective equipment, communication, health surveillance and training.
